Project Leadership Structure

Sergeant's approach to effective leadership structure begins with the development of an engagement responsibility matrix defining process areas and responsible parties. The responsibility matrix is a resource management tool that Sergeant derives from the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and the Resource Breakdown Structure (RBS). The project team is designed based on the needs of the project; however, our standard project management model includes a core group of resources that include but are not limited to: Project Executive, Project Manager, Safety Officer, Quality Control Manager, and Superintendent. This core group of resources is usually augmented by subcontractors, professional consultants and other critical resources that can add value and assurance of project success.

Identification of team leadership and responsibility is maintained and communicated through the use of a Responsibility Matrix. This document is maintained by the Project Executive.
